Common Sense is not that common......! Here are some more
tips !!
1. Be Simple and Original. Don't try to impress selectors with your English or difficult words....try to impress with your ideas and ingenuity of imagination. Explain in simple words. "Expression" is considered to be a gifted quality at ISSB, everyone passes it unless he/she stammers ! !!!. So no need to speak flowery English, rather dont speak english unless you are told to do so. Simple rule if asked in english; answer in english otherwise speak urdu at ISSB.
2. Avoid Long Sentences. First you dont have time to write long sentences secondly you will make mistakes in making long sentences. Remember you are allowed to write even a word instead of sentence, but that should convey some meaning in relation to the word. e.g.
2.1 "Date" ---14 Aug 1947
2.2 "leader"----Quaid-e-Azam.
3. Be Optimistic. Optimistic means always try to have solution dont go for dead ends. Simple rule is always consider it a day time when ever situation does not clearly mentions which part of the day it is. ....e.g.
3.1 woh sunsan sarak per ja raha tha kay achanak.................
here time is not mentioned so take it as a day time not night.
4. Words to be avoided. There are few words which you should avoid in both english and urdu. e.g.
4.1 Accident........Hadsa
4.2 Murder......Qatel
4.3 Blood......Khoon
4.4 Dark......Andhera
4.5 Hopeless......Mayyusi
4.6 Pen......Qalam
4.7 Ink......roshnai
4.8 All type of weapons.....like pistol, rifle, KK, dagger etc.
4.9 Fear...khuaf
4.10Injury
4.11 Se
